Bucharest, August 6, 2025 — H.E. Muhammad Arshad Jan, Ambassador of Pakistan to Romania, expressed profound condolences on behalf of the Government and people of Pakistan following the passing of former Romanian President Ion Iliescu.

In a gesture of solidarity and respect, Ambassador Muhammad Arshad Jan, accompanied by members of the Embassy of Pakistan in Bucharest, extended heartfelt sympathies to the Government and people of Romania, as well as to the bereaved family of the late President.
