Embassy of Pakistan in Bucharest Celebrates 78th Independence Day with Flag-Hoisting Ceremony

Bucharest, August 14, 2025 — The Embassy of Pakistan in Bucharest marked the 78th anniversary of Pakistan’s Independence Day with a flag-hoisting ceremony, attended by members of the diplomatic corps, Romanian officials, civil society representatives, media, and a large number of Pakistani community members and their families.

The event began with the ceremonial hoisting of the national flag, followed by the reading of official messages from the President and Prime Minister of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, delivered by Deputy Head of Mission, Ms. Shazia Muneer.
