Embassy of the Netherlands in Romania:: February 24 marks 4 years since Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine started. A war with global consequences, felt far beyond Europe. A war that has contributed to shaken the global order and stability: economically and politically. It has deeply affected the security, the international agreements, the human rights.
Every day, the Ukrainian people fight for their lives and liberty – and for the security of Europe as a whole.
Together with its allies, the Netherlands will continue to support Ukraine in defending its freedom. Because the sooner this war ends with a lasting peace, the sooner global attention and resources can be refocused.
