The first performance of the prestigious Moroccan orchestra in Romania marks a milestone in Romanian-Moroccan cultural relations.
On the occasion of the National Day of the Kingdom of Morocco, also known as Throne Day – celebrating the enthronement of His Majesty King Mohammed VI – the Bucharest National Opera hosted on Wednesday evening one of the most spectacular cultural events of the year: the gala concert of the Arab-Andalusian Orchestra from Fez. For the first time in Romania, the Bucharest audience had the privilege of discovering the musical treasure of Andalusian tradition in a unique, one-of-a-kind performance.
