FIC President, Daniel Anghel, highlighted during the event FIC CEOs “Romania on the map of investments” with the participation of the Interim President of Romania, Mr. Ilie Bolojan the significant positive impact that foreign direct investment (FDI) has had on Romania’s economic development over the years. He also provided a comprehensive analysis of the contributions made by FIC companies to the economy, the state budget, and society.
“The Foreign Investors Council is the association that brings together 110 of the largest Romanian companies with foreign capital. In this room are almost 50 of the presidents of these companies that have contributed significantly to the fulminant growth of the Romanian economy in the recent decades.
Both FIC and an important part of its member companies have a history of about 30 years of activity in Romania, which has meant investments, jobs, taxes paid, but also long-term commitment to Romania’s development.
