FLYONE launches the first direct commercial flight between Bucharest and Verona

On June 20, 2025, the airline FLYONE operated the first direct commercial flight from Henri Coandă International Airport (OTP) to Verona, thus inaugurating a new strategic air connection between Romania and Italy. The launch event took place at the boarding gate and brought together representatives of aeronautical authorities, industry partners and officials from the Italian Embassy in Bucharest.

The new route opens a direct link to the city of Verona – a destination with a strong cultural and symbolic imprint, but also with a large Romanian community, estimated at around 70,000 people in the Veneto region.
