Mrs. Carmen Chifiriuc serves as Vice-Rector responsible for research at the University of Bucharest, coordinator of the Research Institute of the University of Bucharest and Professor of Microbiology and Immunology at the Faculty of Interdisciplinary Studies and Faculty of Biology. She is PhD supervisor in the field of Biology, supervising since 2014, more than 20 PhD and 7 postdoctoral students. She was the principal investigator of  more than 25 national and international research projects.
