Portrait of a champion: double world gold medallist, published books, mentor for other students. Carina Viespescu, in “100 Youngsters for Romania’s Development”

Two years, two world gold medals at the age of just 18: Carina Viespescu, a student at the International Theoretical High School of Informatics Bucharest, has achieved what few Olympians manage to achieve: simultaneous top performance in mathematics and Informatics, coupled with an unexpected passion for poetry and writing. Due to her impressive performances, Carina was included in the national campaign “100 Youngsters for Romania’s Development”, unfolded at a national level by the Dan Voiculescu Foundation for the Development of Romania – a program dedicated to youngsters who are already building, through their actions, the country’s landmarks of tomorrow.
