 Dear president, dear guests, dear Cabinet colleagues, dear Romanians,

The conclusion of the parliamentary procedure and the swearing-in of the new Government marks the end of a period of instability and interim leadership at the helm of Romania’s key institutions. We now have a Government supported by a significant parliamentary majority.

As of this evening, we are committed to demonstrating our dedication, our capacity for hard work, and our sense of responsibility in the service of Romania.

I am confident that, through cooperation with the President of Romania and with the support of Parliament, we will be able to lead our country through this challenging period in such a way as to create conditions for prosperity and restore the confidence of Romanians.
