Signing of the Action Plan for Strengthened Bilateral Cooperation Between Romania and the Federal Republic of Germany
On Friday, July 18, 2025, in Berlin, the Romanian Minister of Foreign Affairs, Oana Țoiu, together with the State Secretary of the German Federal Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Géza Andreas von Geyr, signed the Action Plan for strengthened bilateral cooperation between Romania and the Federal Republic of Germany.
The signing took place in the presence of the President of Romania, Nicușor Dan, and the Federal Chancellor, Friedrich Merz, as part of the official visit of the Romanian President to Berlin.
The Action Plan provides a concrete framework to intensify the partnership between the two countries. It structures strategically important areas to expand and deepen cooperation across these sectors.
