Singureni Manor Polo Cup 2025 : Romania will be represented by a team in an international polo tournament with Cristina Roșu as team captain

Cristina Roșu, Founder, Singureni Polo Sports Club Association: “At the end of the first edition of Singureni Manor Polo Cup, I realized how deeply I had been inspired by what happened on the field: the energy of the players, the passion, the connection between human and horse, the essence of team sport. I knew then that I wanted to be in the arena with them – not just as the event organizer, but as a player. Until that moment, I had never ridden a horse. I was 38 years old and the dream of playing polo seemed almost impossible, especially considering the high level of the international athletes competing at our tournament. That’s how it all began. I brought in a trainer from Argentina, started training consistently – at Singureni and at international clubs – and gradually built a team that is now set to represent Romania in an international tournament.
