Romania and Türkiye Business Ties Strengthened Through New CCIR–Samsun Cooperation Protocol

Bucharest, 12 June 2026 – The Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Romania (CCIR) and the Samsun Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI) signed a protocol on 11 June 2026 reaffirming their shared commitment to enhancing business cooperation between Romania and Türkiye. The signing took place during the Romania–Türkiye Economic Forum, organized by CCIR, in the presence of His Excellency Özgür Kıvanç Altan, Ambassador of the Republic of Türkiye to Romania.

The protocol was signed within the framework of the European Union-funded project “Sustainability Bridge from East to West”, implemented under the Turkey–EU Business Dialogue II grant scheme, and reaffirms the Memorandum of Understanding previously concluded between CCIR and SCCI.
