The Teleorman County Council Awards the Title of Honorary Citizen to Ms. Lavinia Ochea

On January 24, 2026, on the occasion of the Day of the Union of the Romanian Principalities, the Teleorman County Council awarded the county’s highest distinction—the title of Honorary Citizen of Teleorman County—to Ms. Lavinia Ochea, a career diplomat and Deputy Ambassador of Romania to the Republic of Cyprus.

The distinction was granted in recognition of her outstanding contribution to promoting Romania’s interests at the international level and her deep connection with Teleorman County.

Members of the Teleorman County Council and special guests attended the event.
